Hi I'm Martin Since the age of 15 years I have been fascinated with the functioning of the human body and the pursuit of the “holy grail” of ultimate training. My devotion to fitness drove me to explore 5 Factor Fitness
(The Diet and Fitness Secret of Hollywood’s A-List), yoga,
bodybuilding, Tae Kwon Do, Czech Special Forces army training, P90X
(Extreme Home Fitness) training system, CrossFit, Olympic
Weightlifting, Primal Fitness, Power Lifting and the list is never
ending. My personal development is ongoing and in my spare time I tests new trends and techniques which would benefit his client needs the most. My diverse experience with different training and
nutrition programs enables me to design and deliver the most effective
and enjoyable program to many types of clients. However my specialty are
“skinny fat” individuals as I was one of them and I truly understand how they feel. I promise you will reach your goals quicker
than you dream possible (and have fun at the same time)! Qualifications: • Personal Trainer Specialist (PTS) by Canadian Fitness Professional (90% final score) I am constantly testing new ideas and ways how to improve my clients training programs to make sure they are the most effective and reach specific goals in the fastest possible time without creating “weak links” or injuries. “It’s not about where you start but where you finish plus it’s always about RESULTS” Let me know how I can help you to change your life forever. ![]() Martin’s Story (put your feet up and put the pot on, this will take a while) I grew up in the former Czechoslovakia famous “Chemical City” know for its acid rains which melts your plastic jackets (literally) and black clouds which would melt your lungs so my physical shape was not that great to start with. My dream to be a hockey player was destroyed early at my age of 6 as I was too old to join (cut off age was 4 years). So I did nothing which meant I grew into scrawny, out of shape teenager with a soft belly who was unable to do a single push up run for more than 500 meters without gasping for air. I was frustrated about my look, never wanted to take of my shirt in front of my peers to avoid embarrassment, I hated my soft body and the way how it affected my mind. Not being able to perform well at sports due to my limited physical abilities was killing me. My self-esteem was almost non-existent and my sex life dead. All the girls in the school were attracted to well build guys not to a pudgy nerd like me. Everything changed when I was about 15 years old and saw a pirated version of Rocky IV at my friend’s place which changed my life forever. Since that day I decided to go to gym (once I found one) and start lifting weights to be strong and invincible. I joined a gym (the only one) in my home town and started to lift weights following programs in any book or magazine I could find while following bodybuilding diet “to bulk up” (eating as much as protein of any shape of form). 6 years later and 90lb heavier I found myself sitting at a waiting room in a local hospital to have my knees (worn knee cartilage) and stomach (pancreatic exhaustion) scanned. I realized that while I managed to get somehow stronger and definitely heavier (no all that 90 lb was not lean muscle though) I made few mistakes (which I learned from) along the way. I was determined that from now each new system or conditioning technique I use to improve my fitness I will thoroughly investigate and test on myself from all angles to find the best solution to human’s health, fitness and performance. Since then I went through many different training systems. I flexed my muscles while experimenting with most known bodybuilding training programs and principles, explored Eastern German power lifting secrets, tried to kick high in Taekwondo classes and almost got killed in an elite Czech Special Army Forces. My search for Holy Grail of the ultimate conditioning and training principles did not stop and even now after completing Personal Trainer Specialist of Can Fit Pro, I am testing my joints and lungs at CrossFit, stretching my limbs in yoga classes and getting occasionally my shins scraped by heavy barbells during my Olympic lifting classes. |
